Realigning Our Strategy
Sizing Down the Steps to Make the TransAm Bikeway Real
TransAm Vet and NBG Founding Member, John Dohner, who I used to play touch football with on Saturdays in Palo Alto, CA, articulated some advice that I have been mulling over ever since I resurrected the NBG Hubs idea.

”To the extent that you can, I think it would be helpful for you to spend some time thinking about, and then articulating, the "bite-sized" steps associated with making your vision a reality and the approximate cost and timing of each of those steps. That way, people (like myself), who want to support your vision, have the opportunity to help you financially accomplish the individual steps.”

Sizing my vision of a coast to coast bicycle highway down to our 20 Anchor Cities is not small enough for the average person to get their head around. Nor are their centerpieces, the adult playgrounds we foresee, the 20 Downtown Greenways that will electrify them.
Just like getting sponsorship for my bike ride across America that reached 40 million people in 1986, I can now see that I have to break this whole project down into small pieces that individuals and small businesses can support. Thank you John!
Do watch this space as I work to break this effort down into all of those smaller components that will make the big picture real!!
THX 4 all of U!!
