The Woman Behind the Only Downtown Greenway in the World

We hear about leaders who are changing the world around us all the time. This woman here, Karen Haley, the Executive Director of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick is one of them. Without her, the ICT would not be celebrated internationally as the precious jewel that it is.

It has been Karen's work that has dramatically increased property value along the ICT way. She has also led the charge that has resulted in a downtown building explosion, increased sales tax revenue for the city, as well a large number of new employment opportunities. The June 20, 2024. expansion, from 8 miles to 10, marked the beginning for all of the ICT magic that is soon ahead.
